EVE SECURES LONDON METROPOLITAN POLICE SERVICE CONTRACT
Eve has secured a three year supplier agreement with the largest police force in the UK, the London Metropolitan Police Service.
Having supplied the force with its crowd control, security barriers and fencing products for over 20 years, the new contract will see Eve supplying, storing, maintaining and deploying its barriers across the capital for a wide range of high profile events. These include state visits, Trooping the Colour, London football matches, the celebrated Notting Hill Carnival, Remembrance Day and annual New Year’s Eve celebrations.
As part of the new contract, Eve’s Wimbledon-based depot will be on standby for emergency situations, enabling Eve to deploy the barriers and fencing within two hours.
Carl Rumney, South Divisional Manager at Eve said “Our relationship with the Metropolitan Police Service is a long standing one, and has been cemented with this three year contract to provide barriers and fencing across the capital for crowd control at a range of events. It also confirms the Metropolitan Police Service’s confidence in Eve’s high service standards and ability to deliver on-time, all the time.”
The new three year deal with the Metropolitan Police Service – which will continue throughout the Olympic period when demand for crowd control and security will be at its peak - is the latest in a run of major new contracts that Eve has secured during 2010 including a long term five year contract with Goodwood Racing Company.
