EVE TRAKWAY KICKS-OFF SUMMER CONCERT SEASON WITH TWO NEW PITCH COVERINGS
Take That and Oasis were some of the first stars to test Eve Trakway’s newly purchased pitch coverings, after the leading provider of temporary access solutions, supplied flooring to stadiums across the UK this summer including Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester and the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
The investment adds 15,000 sqm of Supa-Trac and 7,500 ramps to complement Eve Trakway’s existing plastic walkways and pitch coverings, which have been used at major shows such as the Capital FM Ball at the Emirates Stadium and The Goodwood Festival of Speed already this year. The company has also added to its capacity by recycling its older plastic stock.
As a lightweight and versatile modular system, Supa-Trac can accommodate both pedestrian and light vehicle access, making it ideal for the protection of stadium pitches during concerts and as temporary walkways and car parking at outdoor events. Without the need for specialist tools or equipment, Supa–Trac can be laid quickly and easily and with the addition of hi-vis ramps prevent trip hazards and aid access for wheelchair use.
Dave Walkden, Head of Sales and Marketing of Eve Trakway commented: “It is essential that we continuously have the best stock and equipment available, that we invest in our products, such as new pitch coverings and walkways. This not only means that we have a better product range to offer, but can provide our clients with a quality equipment and a high-class service.”
