EVE TRAKWAY JOINS THE FAST TRACK
Eve Trakway has secured a national ranking of 22 in the prestigious ‘The Sunday Times Deloitte Buyout Track 100’ league tables.
Now in its third year, the league was established to feature Britain’s top 100 private equity-backed companies who have achieved the fastest growth - measured over the latest two years of available figures.
In April 2006, Eve Trakway was the subject of a management buyout (MBO) from support services firm Babcock International Group PLC led by Managing Director Rick Barnett and Finance Director Chris Lowton.
As a result, Eve Trakway is now renowned for providing excellent customer service and quality temporary access solutions such as roadways, walkways, barriers, bridges and fences for the construction, rail, telecoms, utilities, music, sport, film, TV and broadcast sectors.
Over the past two years, it has enjoyed enviable growth. The company, which employs over 140 people across three sites in Chesterfield (headquarters), Lanark and London, has grown extensively through acquisitions and with external funding.
In 2008, the company secured the backing of private equity house LDC (Lloyds TSB Development Capital) which invested an undisclosed sum for a minority stake in the business resulting in the acquisition of Fluid Event Interiors, a move that has added significantly to its portfolio of services.
Commenting, Chris Lowton Finance Director of Eve Trakway, said: “We are overjoyed to be awarded The Sunday Times Deloitte Buyout Track 100 accolade particularly in listing 22 in the league. It is testament to the forward thinking of senior management, a sound business structure and most importantly the hard work and dedication of our workforce, who constantly meet and in most cases, exceed client requirements and expectations.
“Also, this accolade demonstrates how valuable our new, existing and longstanding clients are, who have helped establish Eve Trakway over the past 40 years. An extended thank you goes to all of those that have helped make this happen.”
