EVE SIGNS FIVE YEAR CONTRACT WITH MAJOR EVENT ORGANISER
Eve has geared up its relationship with the internationally acclaimed Goodwood Road Racing Company by signing a new five-year partnership from January 2010.
Having worked with the company for over ten years, Eve will undertake the supply, installation and recovery of all temporary access roadways and walkways, fencing, crowd control barriers and terracing.
Motor racing first came to Goodwood in 1936 when the 9th Duke of Richmond held a private hillclimb through the park and subsequently the annual motorsport event calendar has grown year on year.
This partnership will see Eve working with events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July which for most is the world’s greatest celebration of the history of motor sport; and the Goodwood Revival in September which is the largest and most popular historic motor race meeting on the planet.
Eve managing director, Rick Barnett, comments: “There is such an amazing array of events which we will be working with at Goodwood including the world renowned Revival and Festival of Speed.
“We are also set to be the sole supplier for exhibitors at events requiring our equipment and all other events organised by Goodwood Road Racing Company, including their new event for 2010, Vintage at Goodwood.”
Chris Salmon, Event Operations Director of Goodwood said: "I am thrilled that Goodwood Road Racing has extended its partnership with Eve. The professional approach, competitive edge and can do attitude at every level across their organisation is of continued benefit to the success, delivery and presentation of our international events."
The relationship will continue through the Olympic period, where demand for temporary access systems and related services will peak, guaranteeing their events the services they require in what is set to be a busy time in the calendar.
