AFTER 45 YEARS IN THE BUSINESS EVE CONTINUES TO KEEP THE INDUSTRY MOVING WITH THE TIMES

Eve has announced plans to mark its 45th year in the industry with a bang at this year’s Showman’s Show with the launch of an innovative new product, the Eve Event Trakpanel.

Designed to ensure an event keeps moving, the Event Trakpanel – which measures 3m wide by 2m in length and is 48mm deep – services the wide range of event traffic which includes pedestrians and light vehicles through to high volume traffic and heavy commercial vehicles. Once deployed, it allows rapid and safe access for pedestrians to the heaviest of loads across stable ground.

Offering strength and durability, the Event Trakpanel can withstand up to 70 tonne and ensures the load-bearing capacity of the existing ground is vastly improved. In addition, the new product offering also helps protect the ground as well as vehicles travelling, making it the perfect solution for events held on delicate areas such as public spaces and sporting venues where preservation is essential.

Developed to reduce trip hazards and meet the needs of both pedestrian and vehicle use, the Event Trakpanel has been designed with integrated fixings and joints coupled with its continuous smooth surface. Additional benefits include its light design to not only facilitate installation without the need for large installation vehicles but also minimise transport costs.

The Event Trakpanel will be on display at the Showman’s Show with the team on hand to answer any questions relating to its specification, development and application which includes being used at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and a number of high profile sports events and stadium concerts.

As Eve will also be celebrating its 45th birthday, the team is inviting visitors to come and see how the company not only keeps events on the right track, but how it also keeps moving with the times too.  As part of the anniversary, Eve will have a photographic timeline displayed to highlight the array of high profile events the team has provided access for since the company was founded in 1966. Visitors to the stand will also get the chance to take part in a competition to see how well they can move to win prizes.

Eve started out by providing trakway systems in response to the access requirements demanded by the massive development of the electricity infrastructure.  As the event industry developed, Eve’s solutions leant themselves to providing access to event vehicles and visitors, initially being involved in golf tournaments and early festivals.
